Welcome Parents, Staff and Students!

It’s a pleasure to be able to participate on the PTO board once again this year. As a parent, I want the best possible support for my children in their academic environment, as well as their religious education. I look forward to a successful year filled with comradery and fun with families coming together to achieve the same goal — supporting St. John’s School.

Your PTO has been focused on preparing and enhancing all aspects of the educational environment of our students. The purpose of the PTO is to first and foremost support our students and their school by means of financial fundraising. This fundraising can only happen through our yearly events and our events are only successful with the volunteering of the parents. Whatever level of participation you choose, your time and involvement will be greatly appreciated. Many parents feel that they cannot participate in the PTO because they cannot attend meetings or be at school during the day. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours in or outside of school hours, your ideas, your time, and your talents are truly needed. Any amount of time or financial support you can contribute to our students and school will be to your children’s direct benefit.

I invite you to stay informed of our upcoming events by regularly checking the PTO website ( and school website ( Other ways to stay informed are by attending a PTO meeting, held on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 and the Principal Chats, held bi-monthly after drop off.  This year we will be focusing on some important goals to raise money to go towards new cafeteria tables, updating library resources and upgrading the interior security system of the buildings as well as updating class resources. Successful attendance to each event and fundraiser gets us closer to our goals.  Please contact me anytime about PTO events and activities. I am here to assist you in any way that I can. I hold this opportunity in high regard and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you!

With appreciation,
Jennifer Caballero – SJES PTO President,
