Beginning February 2023, Saint John the Evangelist School/Preschool will adopt a continuous enrollment system. It replaces an old model that required parents to reenroll their students every year until graduation, a policy that led to missed deadlines and extra paperwork for parents and administrators. Under the continuous enrollment system, the process is streamlined. Once students are enrolled, they are automatically reenrolled every year until graduation or until the withdrawal process is completed.
Step 1 – Inquire

Step 2 – Complete the Online Application.
Open Enrollment for 2023-2024 begins February 6.
Saint John the Evangelist will use a 100% online application process for new students. We do not accept paper applications and checks.
Children applying for Preschool must be three years of age by September 30 of the year of entry and bathroom independent. Children applying for kindergarten must be five years of age by September 30. St. John the Evangelist may require readiness screening.
Upon applying to Saint John the Evangelist School/Preschool, a non-refundable application fee of $150 must be paid to complete the application. Applications for all grades are subject to the review and recommendation of the admissions committee.
Your application will not be considered for acceptance until all of the required documents have been submitted and payment received. If you cannot upload the necessary documents with the online application, you may email them to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring them into the office during school hours.
Be sure to submit your online FACTS financial application. All Diocesan Tuition Assistance paperwork must be submitted before the March 16 deadline.
Step 3 – Interview
Once all required documents are received and reviewed, our Admissions or Preschool Director will contact you to schedule an interview.
Step 4 – Enrollment
Upon acceptance, you will receive an email notification to complete the Enrollment Packet in FACTS. The packet is required for enrollment to be complete.
There is a $600 non-refundable Tuition Deposit per family. The deposit is due with the Enrollment Packet. This fee serves as your deposit for the applicable school year. It will be deducted from the total tuition. Upon receipt of this deposit, you are committing to the full tuition for the applicable school year.
Saint John the Evangelist School/Preschool will employ a continuous enrollment model in which families are automatically enrolled each school year unless they choose to opt-out/withdraw. Continuous Enrollment will lock down that coveted seat for your student until graduation.
There is a Tuition and Continuous Enrollment Agreement Form, found in the Enrollment Packet, that each family goes through when they first enroll with the school. The Continuous Enrollment Agreement only needs to be submitted once.
When a family is automatically enrolled through Continuous Enrollment, a non-refundable Tuition Deposit per family will be billed to the family’s FACTS account in February of each year. The Tuition Deposit assists Saint John the Evangelist in effectively planning for staffing and curriculum by securing student placement for the upcoming year. The tuition deposit amount will be published in January each year on the Tuition and Fees webpage. Families who opt out/withdraw before February 1 are expressing their intent not to return to Saint John the Evangelist and are therefore not charged the Tuition Deposit.
If your student is not returning next year, you’ll complete the opt-out/withdraw form. Once we receive the notification, the Office will send instructions for the end-of-the-school-year procedures. Your student FACTS account must be reconciled by June 30.
