Meet Mrs. Fine

LuAnn Fine teaches seventh and eighth grade algebra and middle school science. She is also the LabLearner coordinator, facilitating PreK-5 science labs. Mrs. Fine believes her role as a teacher is to ignite an enthusiasm for learning and promote creative and critical thinking.

LuAnn Fine has been a member of the St. John the Evangelist School community since 1993. After serving two years as the kindergarten assistant, Mrs. Fine became our middle school math and science teacher. Prior to her teaching career, Mrs. Fine worked many years in the science research field.

Mrs. Fine earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Montclair State University. She also earned numerous graduate credits in education, mathematics, and science from Rutgers University and the University of Virginia. She holds a VCEA license with an endorsement in Algebra.
