Color Run

We are excited about an important fundraising event at St. John the Evangelist School. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to directly benefit your child’s educational experience at our school.

On Friday, October 11, 2019, St. John the Evangelist School will be holding its first “Color Run”, formerly known as the “Race for Education!” The purpose will be to raise funds to update the teacher laptops and add new equipment to classrooms.

Students will walk or jog around a 1/4 mile area as many times as possible in a one-hour period (1/2 hour for preschool). The students will be supplied a white t-shirt and sunglasses as they complete a lap they will be dusted with different colored chalks. Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax deductible donation to St. John the Evangelist School.

Our school’s goal is to raise $10,000. Your participation is essential to the success of this program.

Students will be coming home with a “Kick-off Packet” of information about our “Color Run”. Parents, please review the packet carefully. You can enable us to reach this goal by spending a minimal amount of time filling out and mailing letters to potential sponsors.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.

Sincerely,

Temple Macdonald, Principal
Margherita Warhurst, PTO President
Jennifer Runkles, Run Coordinator
