Christmas Parade

Hello Saint John Families!

The annual Christmas parade in downtown Warrenton is on Friday, December 6, 2019 this year! St. John the Evangelist School is excited to have a float again. We need some help prepping it and we need volunteers to participate and to walk beside it.

We need 3 handy volunteers to meet at the school on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend (November 30) from 12pm-5pm and help construct the Nativity scene. Trey Hooper has secured a large trailer, plenty of wood and an awesome design. Everything will be delivered to the school and ready. If you are able to help, please email Trey at Treyhoop@gmail.com.

We do need some donations for the float:
**12 bales of hay
**20 flat white sheets

If you can bring either of those, please let us know. We need all materials at the school by Monday, November 25 so that Trey and his crew can put it all together.

Below is the Signup Genius for the float. We need angels, Mary, Joseph, walkers, folks to bring candy and cookies, people to hold the banner, etc.
This operates on a first come basis and if your child is in the parade, you must walk with the parade. There are no drop offs. Anyone is welcome to walk so if it fills up quickly, please just come walk with us!

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you at the parade!
