St. John the Evangelist School and Preschool will be closed to celebrate a life on Friday January 22, 2021

 In loving memory of Ms.Julie C. Copeland 1956-2021. 

Anyone familiar with our Preschool Director, Ms. Copeland, knew she loved teaching and working with children. Ms. Copeland was heavily involved in the recent preschool addition and a huge advocate for the elementary school. Through the grace of God, our elementary school has continued to welcome countless students and families. Her wisdom, passion for learning, and genuine care for all SJES students will be remembered for many years to come. We want to honor her life where she worked for so many years for Saint John Preschool. Please join us on Friday, January 22, from 10 am-12 pm or 2 pm-4 pm to tour the “Monkey class” in tribute.  We will have class photos on display, as well as a tribute slide presentation. Due to state regulations, a max of 10 people are allowed at one time, but all are welcome to join us as we pay homage to a beautiful life that deserves to be celebrated.  The facial covering is required for all ages 4 and older.

A funeral Mass for her soul’s repose will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 11 am.  Facial coverings are requested.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
