Flook Family Fundraiser

Good afternoon St. John Families,

One of our school families is in need of assistance. Mr. Dan Flook and a few of the older children were involved in a severe car accident on route 29 Wednesday evening.  He was taken by helicopter to the hospital and has multiple surgeries to undergo. The children are fine but there is a long road to recovery ahead for Mr. Flook.

As a community, we would like to show our support to this family during this difficult time. Chestnut Forks Swim Club is holding a swim-a-thon (participation optional) to raise money and support for the Flook family.

Saturday, July 13th:

8:30-9:30:  15 & up (including lap swimming adults)

9:30-10:30:  Ages 8-14 (swim team members/independent lap swimmers)

10:30-11:30:  8U (including Minnows, swim lessons, and family swim)

There is a form attached that can be used to raise money from friends and family.  Straight donations can be made or money can be pledged based on the number of laps swam. The hope is that this event can be uplifting to the family, as well as help reduce some financial burden; 100% of the proceeds from the swim will be given to the Flook family. This event is open to anyone who wishes to participate; membership to the pool is not required. Please reach out to Chestnut Forks with any questions or concerns regarding the event.
